Admissions information

Minimum Eligibility

Age: Must be at least 16 years old.

Education: Completion of 8th grade or higher.

Entry exam: Score 80% or higher on the Basic reading, writing, and math entry exam

We offer Certified Nursing Assistant courses as well as BLS and ACLS CPR courses

We are governed by IBHE and IDPH.  

Graduates are eligible to take the Illinois Nurse Aide Competency Exam (INACE) administered by Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC).

Successful completion and passing of the exam results in placement on the Illinois Health Care Worker Registry 

Registration fee is non refundable. 

 The student has the right to cancel the initial enrollment agreement until 24 hrs of the following day after the student has been admitted.  Students who withdraw before the first day of class are eligible for a full refund. After the start of the program, refunds are prorated based on attendance and instructional hours completed. No refunds will be issued after 50% of the program is completed.

We offer flexible program options. Students can choose to complete the course between 4-12 weeks. 

120 hours of instruction, including:

80 hours of classroom training

40 hours of supervised clinical experience.
